Introduction
Dr. Zhijing Ye is currently an Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Macau University of Science and Technology, Macau, China. He received the B.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. His research focuses on high-dimensional data analysis, target classification and recognition, rational approximation, and statistical learning algorithms.
He has successfully led multiple research projects, including the Macau Science and Technology Development Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program), Wuyi University Hong Kong and Macau Joint Fund, Hubei Natural Science Foundation, and Central Universities' Basic Research Fund. Ye has published about 20 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (IEEE TGRS), IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, and IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (IEEE JSTARS). His work advances theoretical and applied methodologies in data science and remote sensing.
